Okay, there's no way I
could ever choose just one favorite book so, I'll do this instead my and your
favorite books of the month. :) As always the “your” part requires some feedback
so that'd be great.
AUGUST 2014:
My favorites for this month would definitely have to be:
Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout
This was an amazing ending to an absolutely thrilling and awesome series. I'll be truthful it took me quite a while to tell myself "you want to read Obsidian it will be such a good book. Half way through that book i was hooked, I loved the way Armentrout developed Daemon and Kat's relationship. There's something about the hate to love relationships that just intrigues me, i always love them! Then there's all the plot twists! Holy Son of a Biscuit Eating Monkey, those plot twists!! I love the way these books kept me guessing, and always excited for more.
Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover
This definitely wasn't my favorite book of all time from this author, but it was a really different read for me. I don't necessarily care for this mature of a read, i like more story than steamy scenes. Yeah i know, not something you hear very often. But anyways, the way Mrs. Hoover can take such a taboo subject and twist it into a light where we can't help but empathize with her characters just astounds be, it's beyond brilliant!! Oh, and then there's Griffin Peterson's Single "Ugly Love" that was written about this novel. It's amazing my itunes play count currently reads 203 for this song. It fits the book so well. man, i loved this book; Miles and Tate were so heartbreaking, and gut wrenching, and then so absolutely beautiful as their story progressed.
